Scarborough vs Curzon match preview

The Nash travel to Scarborough Athletic on Good Friday for some bank holiday football as we look to bounce back from Saturday's draw at home to Bradford PA.

Opposition watch:

Scarborough sit 5th in the table going into Friday's game- 9 points above Curzon, with 2 more games played. Something that should give Nash fans hope ahead of the faceoff on the east coast is that our hosts have only won one of their last 5 games. However, of our three encounters against Scarborough this season, the only one we have failed to win was the FA Cup game at the Flamingo Land Stadium.

Team news:

Curzon once again have a fully fit squad for friday's game which could cause Lakeland a few selection headaches with Sam Walker now being fully fit to play. However, this is obviously a positive for the Nash with this being our first of 2 games across the Easter weekend so good rotation options could be the key to picking up some key points.

The hosts will asses two players' fitness before the game, midfielder Ciaran McGukin and winger Dom Tear. The pair are both big players for 'Boro' who have scored 12 goals between them this season and the Nash will be hoping neither are available.

Curzon watch:

The Nash sit 12th in the table with the playoff places just on the horizon- despite a big 2 points dropped last weekend. Friday's game is seen as key in the possible playoff charge with our opponents also looking to achieve a place in the playoffs. A win would take the Nash within 6 points of Scarborough, despite having played 2 games less.

We need your support at the Flamingo Land Stadium on Friday afternoon so if you can, make your way up there and support the nash!
