The Nash return to action on Tuesday as we play host to Kidderminster Harriers at the Tameside Stadium.
Curzon have had the luxury of a 10 day break since our previous 2 games against Banbury and Kettering were postponed. Tuesday is a key match for Lakeland's men as the pride of Tameside look to build on a win against Buxton and draw away to Chester.
Opposition watch:
The Harriers sit in 15th in the table and have picked up 5 points in their last 5 games- the same as Curzon. Tuesday's visitors played host to Bradford PA on Saturday and came away with a 1-1 draw thanks to an Amari Morgan Smith equaliser.
Kidderminster are managed by club legend Russ Penn. Penn made over 200 appearances as a player and got given the caretaker job in 2019, before being made permanent gaffer in 2020.
The teams last played in August where Curzon would pick up all three points thanks to goals from Will Hayhurst and Devon Matthews, in a game which finished 2-1.
Team news:
The Nash have no reported injuries for this game however, striker Craig Hobson has recently left the club to join former gaffer, Steve Cunningham, at Hurst Cross. There is a chance Nash fans will get to see young midfielder, Hayden Campbell, in action for the first time after he joined the club from Marine 2 weeks ago.
Just like Curzon, The Harriers have no confirmed absentees either for Tuesday's clash. However, with them playing just three days ago, they are likely to make a few changes. One of these could be Saturday's goal scorer, Morgan-Smith, returning to the 11.
Head to head:
The two sides have faced off 13 times before, with Curzon winning 2, Harriers winning 7 and the sides drawing 4 times. Curzon's only home win in this fixture came in the FA Trophy in 2019, where the Nash prevailed as 3-0 winners. This fixture last season finished 1-1 in a game where the Nash were very unlucky not to win due to a stoppage time equaliser from the visitors.
The game is bound to be a good one with both sides needing points to climb back up the table. Get down to the Tameside Stadium to support the lads if you can!
