The Nash will play host to Farsley Celtic as we look to bounce back from Tuesday's disappointment against Kidderminster Harriers.
Both sides will come into this one with tired legs after both sides were involved in tight games on Tuesday evening.
Opposition watch:
Farsley sit 22nd in the table at the minute and are currently 2 points from safety. However, they did get a crucial win on Tuesday evening as they played host to fellow relegation rivals Buxton. The game finished 2-1 to Celtic win Kian Scales and Jimmy Spencer both getting on the scoresheet.
Saturday's visitors are managed by ex York City manager, Russ Wilcox. Wilcox has good experience after managing in the football league with York as well as 3 stints with Scunthorpe United.
Team news:
The Nash will be without the suspended Connor Dimaio against Farsley as the midfielder completes the final game of his 3 match suspension for a red card against Southport almost 4 weeks ago. There are also doubts over Benni Smales Braithwaite's fitness as the attacker could only come on for a couple of minutes on Tuesday due to a slight hamstring problem. Saturday will also be another chance for Lakeland to give new signing Hayden Campbell his first start for Curzon. The attacking minded midfielder came on made his debut on Tuesday from the bench and looked very promising going forward. Curzon fans can also expect to see Finlay Armstrong make his debut who was announced on Friday evening after agreeing a one month loan deal with Burnley. The left back is likely to slot right into the side since the Nash have been without a natural left back since Connor Hampson left to move to Australia last month.
There is no confirmed absentees for Farsley this week as the visitors look like they have a fully fit squad to choose from- very different from their look earlier in the season as they have had big troubles with injuries so far this campaign.
Head to head:
The 2 sides have faced off 6 times previously with Curzon winning 2, Farsley winning 3 and the sides drawing just once. The previous meeting between the sides was in August at the Citadel Stadium. Both teams played their part in a scrappy 1-1 draw that ended with a Chris Renshaw penalty save with the last kick of the game.
With the Nash currently needing to pick up points wherever possible, this game against our relegation rivals is a massive one. Make sure you get down to the Nash on Saturday to support the lads as we try climb away from relegation!
