Saturday will see The Nash make the short trip to Mill Farm to face AFC Fylde as we look to build on last Saturday's big 5-2 win against Farsley Celtic.
Opposition watch:
Fylde currently sit 2nd in the table and have won 4 of their last 5 games. They picked up a point last weekend in a 1-1 draw with Chester at Mill Farm. The hosts are managed by Adam Murray. Murray amassed over 500 appearances as a midfielder, and although he hasn't been managing for too long, he has picked up valuable experience managing Boston United and has managed Barnsley on two different occasions as caretaker manager. Our hosts have lost just 2 games at Mill Farm this season so are bound to be tough opposition for our Curzon lads on Saturday.
Team news:
The Nash will once again be without Connor Dimaio as he serves the final game of his suspension. Finlay Armstrong is expected to come into the side to make his debut. Curzon could stick with the successful five at the back formation which helped us to a big win last weekend.
Head to head:
Curzon and Fylde have faced off 16 times. The Nash have picked up 8 wins, Fylde have won 6 and the sides have drawn just twice. Saturday will be the 7th meeting between the sides in the National League North. Curzon haven't faced Fylde yet this season however last season's results against the coasters should give us confident with Lakeland's men doing the double over them.
It's bound to be a tough game for The Nash however everyone at the club will be hoping that last Saturday can be a big turning point for us as we look to push away from the relegation zone. Let's get up to Fylde on Saturday and get behind the lads!
